Materials used NECC 2007 workshop, 60-min presentation
Just got done presenting and want to share the activity and mats I used.
Format: 60-minute, bring-your-own laptop session. About 75 participants. Needed to do a quick, content-generic activity.
The activity is #2544. Has 7 images about Atlanta, plus Version 1 had a script stub placed in it to help participants get going. (If you want to view my demo account and walk through the versions, log in with “neccdemo0″/”neccdemo0″.)
And here are the powerpoint and handouts. The handouts are meant to be copied front-back and are handed out in-process, not up front.
- Powerpoint = 16 slides; be sure to see Notes section for comments on how to use it. Cuts away to demo at slide 11
- First handout = walks through using student side. Note that I wrote in account names and passwords for each participant)
- Second handout = just a quick highlighting of the modalities on the teacher end. Lots of room for improvement.
